The company intends to supply and set up two oceanographic and metrological stations in the ports of Cascais and Lagos. These stations are certified by the GLOSS world network.

They provide data on ocean level, sea temperature, air temperature and atmospheric pressure. These data are sent in real time for an online platform and are also accessible by FTP. Users can access the station locally using our application, amberlogger, or remotely by a reverse ssh web connection.

It should be noted that most of the tidal stations of the Portuguese naval authority were made by Amberjack Solutions. These high precision tide stations measure the tide level in several ports in mainland Portugal, Madeira and the archipelago of the Azores. The water level is measured with a high precision RADAR sensor.

The accuracy of the time stamp is achieved through the synchronization of GPS and NTP. The data is delivered at a rate of one minute, in real time to the client’s server. In addition to these permanent stations, Amberjack Solutions has been developing field tide stations to be used in several international jobs developed by the Portuguese Maritime Authority with great success.
