CELTALGA EXTRACT | Production of aqueous algae extracts

The projects in which Celtalga Extract S.L are focused on the search of financing for the development, obtaining and commercialization of natural extracts of seaweed for the industry of natural cosmetics, food and nutritional complements.

Celtalga offers to the cosmetic industry recognized ingredients from different species of algae, all of them included in the INCI (International Nomenclature of Chemical Ingredients).

The maturity of the scientific and technical knowledge in different processes of obtaining and purification of natural antioxidant extracts of the promoting team are transferred to Celtalga Extract. The project is strengthened with the incorporation of the company Porto-Muiños, pioneer in Galicia in the commercialization of alimentary algae and products derived from them.

Its main objectives include:

• To be a reference in the generation of new natural ingredients and active principles of marine origin for the food, cosmetic and health sectors.
• To provide active ingredients of marine origin to the food and cosmetic industry.
• To continue being a technology-based company based on the aqueous paste process.
